Be sure and read “Restore Me” before diving into this sneak peek because it’s a massive spoiler. She also showed a sneak peek of the Warner pages for “Defy Me” with the caption “See, he’s still alive!” She’s cruel in the most beautiful and devious of ways.
I can still remember begging her for Warner and Kenji’s lives during the book tour for “Restore Me” and she said “Why does everyone think they’re dead?” I looked at her with the most incredulous and stunned look possible. How could she not remember what she did at the end of “Restore Me?” and she smiled and said “They will be fine, eventually.”
From that day forward I knew “Defy Me” was going to be an intense read and after reading this sneak peek I am so not ready.
My heart hurts for Warner SO much and I just want everything to work out for him. Ooooh, Warner!!! *holds him close and never lets him go*
The truth is… I’m ready but not ready for this book. I’m even considering taking a few days off from work when its released so I can dive in and binge through the book uninterrupted and have time to get my emotions in check before going back to reality. Anyone else thinking of doing this too?
